I've Been Corporatized!

I feel slightly nauseous. In several emails I've sent today I've used the following words and phrases:

"wins and opportunities"

demographic

"going forward" (yuck)

"action items"

Please put me out of my misery when I start saying "think outside the box."

20 Commandments?

So way back when God gave us the 15 10 Commandments, I doubt he forsaw the Catholics taking it one step further and issuing the 10 Commandments for Drivers.

A Brave(s) New World

I'm sure you heard about Cubs' coach Piniella getting suspended and fined for kicking dirt at an ump this past Saturday. While I found that mildly amusing, I was almost crying with laughter after seeing this video of Phillip Wellman, coach of the minor league team the Mississippi Braves, losing his mind and most importantly, his dignity. The music playing in the background is priceless.

My favorite moment is around the 1:35 spot.

Travolta

John Travolta continues to be embarrassed by his autistic son, Jett. Meanwhile, Jett continues to be embarrassed by his pot-bellied Scientologist father, John Travolta.
